LEO is a non-profit making organization affiliated under POWA and aimed at empowering women and girls through seminars, workshops and camps. LEO was founded by Matawana Moleleki, in 1999 and formally launched in 2000.

It has since grown in membership and support; attracting an audience of over a thousand affluent women across South Africa over the past years. LEO currently facilitates and hosts a ‘Business Database’, comprising of women owned businesses. Through this, the organization mentors, coaches, and workshops business owners, and then advocates on their behalf with relevant stakeholders.

Each year LEO hosts numerous events with the aim of educating women and girls to better their lives. These events include; Banquet, Seminars, Camps, Tours and Workshops.

The president, Matawana Moleleki believes that knowledge is power and that it is one of the most important tools of empowering any woman. As she always says :

"You cannot do it on your own, you need other women to share how they do it so you can build the confidence to take charge of your own life”
